Kim Kardashian and clan release creepy Christmas card

Kim Kardashian Divorce: Ruining Kris Humphries' Career?

"the backlash continues to rear its ugly head"

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries definitely had a roller coaster of a relationship, to say the least—from the extreme highs (that massive, high-dollar engagement ring, the fairy-tale wedding, the fame and fortune earned from said romance) to serious lows (drama in spades, as now played out on Kourtney and Kim Take New York, and obviously lots of disagreement and irreconcilable differences). Now that their ride has ended in divorce, after what was a painfully short 72-day marriage, the backlash from the breakup continues to rear its ugly head: fallout from K.K.'s fan club, rumors that the whole wedding was a sham, and beyond. The newest reported casualty? Humphries' career.

In light of Kim's sister Khloe Kardashian's NBA pro husband, Lamar Odom, and his recent trade to the Dallas Mavericks, there have been questions raised about the possibility of the basketball-playing Kris Humphries signing to a new team (he has played for the New Jersey Nets in the past). While neither Khloe or Lamar may have been thrilled about the unexpected move to Dallas from the Los Angeles Lakers, the transition was relatively smooth and drama-free despite the affiliation with Kardashian clan.

But, an exclusive Hollywood Life report suggests that Humphries may be facing some choppy waters ahead in his professional life, as the Kim Kardashian reality show spectacle that continues to rage on (and involve the Humph) could prevent a similar seamless switch and may be too much for the NBA to even want to handle.
File:Kim Kardashian 2009 Tribeca portrait.jpg"The Kim drama is affecting [Kris'] career because teams don't want that guaranteed drama to come into the locker room," said a source. "NBA teams are aware of the firestorm that Kris will get in the media when he signs to a team. It's something they're not interested in."

Little did Kris Humphries know that when he put a ring on it, Kim Kardashian not only would become his future wife, but also his future ex and would cause a big foul on his sports career. Hopefully, he'll be able to work it out with the NBA and score a slam dunk for the upcoming season.

Kim Kardashian and clan release creepy Christmas card

The annual Kardashian and Jenner family Christmas card has lots of fans scratching their heads. That's because the strange card, which also comes in 3-D, shows the entire family looking like a bunch of quizzical plastic mannequins.

Monday, December 19, 2011 marks the date that the public got its first glance at Kim Kardashian and her less famous family wearing menswear and menswear-inspired costumes and glassy-eyed stares on the card. According to Radar Online, the tuxedo Kim Kardashian wears in the photo is the exact same outfit she wore to a recent taping of Dancing With the Stars.

There's no doubt that Kris Jenner gave birth to beautiful children, but this year's Christmas card does little to accentuate the six siblings' natural beauty. The looks on their faces are really difficult to describe, but words like "wooden" and "Al Gore" come to mind.

Perhaps, the Kardashian and Jenner clan were trying to be artistic, but the overall result was undeniably creepy. Long legs have been further elongated. Short legs have been lengthened. Each individual stares in a different direction.

Lamar Odom looks best in the photo. It appears that he just stepped out of a menswear or cologne ad. It's just too bad that he is looking over his shoulder instead of his beautiful wife Khloe.

The picture was taken by famed photographer Nick Saglimbeni, the same man who took the controversial photos of Kendall Jenner wearing a bikini at the beginning of her modeling career.

Although the Christmas card is a little surreal, the most important thing is that the Kardashians and Jenners like it. Kim and Kourtney Kardashian both had high praise for the card with Kim writing “There’s nothing I love more than getting everyone together for the Christmas card shoot! I love everyone’s matching bow ties!” and Kim blogging “I love our family Christmas cards shoots, and I think this one looks amazing.” That's really all that matters.
